Today I've decided that I'm going to ask for a laptop for Christmas. I know it's only the beginning of October, but I feel like something of this magnitude should be addressed early. I want a Dell laptop, they've always given me great service. It's going to be used mainly to hold music, and use Photoshop and AIM. I'll be able to work on my art with my friends watching, how cool is that? Very.
Also, I've gotten really into this DeviantArt Shop thing as of late. I figure I'll buy some pieces sometime, probably a couple with my Chrsitmas money.
As for my own art progress, I've gotten a lot better recently. I just followed a tutorial on creating Abstract pieces, which has boosted my knowledge of Photoshop quite a bit. I learned some cool effects, and I can finally use the Pen tool efficiently. If any of you pro-artists are out there reading this, please point me in the direction of some large piece tutorials, or give me some tips. I'm trying to make an abstract piece with a stock from [link], and my canvas is 600x900. ITO, thanks for that beginning, but I'm going to need some techniques to use while creating these pieces. The problem that I'm having so far is just getting into what I want to create. I'm used to my biggest work being around 400x150 pixels, so I have no idea what to use in these large piece situations. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Now, I'm gonna stop boring all of you. You can go about your lives, like you weren't going to.
